Since Micsig's disruptive invention of the first tablet oscilloscope in 2012, tablet oscilloscopes have undergone six generations of development and transformation. The newly released MHO14 series high-resolution tablet oscilloscopes this year incorporate optimization suggestions put forward by engineers from various fields over the past decade. We believe it will surely meet all your expectations for professional-grade portable oscilloscopes (handheld oscilloscopes )!

This article will help you quickly get to know it.

Main Performance Parameters

1. 12-bit High-Resolution Display

image.png

Vertical ResolutionEquipped with a 12-bit ADC, it provides 4096-level quantization precision, 16 times that of traditional 8-bit oscilloscopes, significantly enhancing the ability to present small-signal details.

Sampling RateAchieves 1 GSa/s real-time sampling in single-channel mode.

Storage DepthThe single-channel storage depth reaches 110 Mpts. When four channels are synchronously acquired, each channel has 27.5 Mpts. It supports up to 10,000 segments of segmented storage to cyclically capture occasional abnormal signals.

DC Gain Accuracy≤1%, voltage measurement error ≤1% (DC)/1.5% (AC 50Hz~10kHz), providing reliable data support for R&D debugging.

Accurate Small-Signal CaptureThe full-range (1mV/div~10V/div) background noise is ≤150μVrms, which can clearly present details such as weak sensor signals and power supply ripples.

2. Portable Design

Ultimate PortabilityDimensions: 265×174×31mm (thickness: only 3.1cm, equivalent to the thickness of a book), net weight 1.73kg. It allows easy single-hand holding and fits into a backpack without taking up much space, making it the top choice for professional-grade portable oscilloscopes during fieldwork.

Protection DesignThe MHO14 Series features an expanded soft rubber coverage area. Protective rubber is applied not only to critical sections but also extends to the bottom of the device, forming a more comprehensive shock-absorbing buffer layer.

Display SystemEquipped with an 8-inch high-definition touchscreen (1280×800 resolution) that is anti-reflective, anti-fingerprint, anti-glare, and (non-marking), ensuring delicate and clear waveform display.

Battery and Interfaces:

Built-in Rechargeable Battery16000mAh lithium-ion battery (3.7V) with cyclic charging capability.

Power lock for safer carryingActivate the power lock by long-pressing the power button for 3 seconds, which prevents accidental startup during transportation or movement. When the power lock is disabled, the oscilloscope can be turned on/off and operated normally, balancing safety and convenience.

Multiple Charging Solutions: Type-C Interface: Supports 5V/2A fast charging and is compatible with mobile power banks for emergency power supply, freeing users from power cord constraints.12V DC Adapter: Supports global voltage (100-240V~) and allows simultaneous charging and operation to ensure stable testing.

Interfaces: Equipped with USB 3.0 Host (for connecting USB drives /printers),Type-C(for data transmission/charging),LAN(for remote control), HDMI (for 1080P screen projection), and Trigger out(for calibration signal output), meeting connectivity needs in diverse scenarios.

Remote control: Supports the SCPI protocol for seamless integration with LabVIEW/Matlab automated testing systems. The mobile APP (Micsig Connect) enables remote control and real-time synchronization of the oscilloscope interface.

Three Operation Modes: Features high-quality knobs and buttons combined with full-touch operation. The touchscreen offers sensitive and fast response.

Multiple Featured Quick Functions: One-key full-screen display of all menus, quick setup of channel functions, and fast switching between channel settings.Eight customizable function keys for quick access to high-frequency operations such as trigger modes, storage, menus, and decoding.Supports memory of the latest 10 groups of configurations and one-key screenshot (saving to 64G built-in storage or USB drive), facilitating fast switching between testing scenarios, data saving, and transmission.
