One Article to Understand the Micsig AHO1 Series High-Resolution Automotive Oscilloscope

The Micsig AHO1 Series is a high-resolution automotive oscilloscope purpose-built for automotive electronic control system diagnostics. Featuring 200MHz bandwidth, 4 channels, 1GSa/s real-time sampling rate, and a 12-bit vertical resolution as its core highlight, it can clearly capture millivolt-level signals. It integrates a 4⅚-digit multimeter, presets full-scene automotive diagnostic functions including charging/starting circuits, sensors, actuators, ignition circuits, and communication buses, and adopts a dual-software architecture combining automotive-specific and general-purpose oscilloscope modes. With an ultra-thin 3.1cm body and a large-capacity lithium battery, it is an ideal choice for maintenance, R&D, and teaching for both traditional fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles.

Product Core Highlights

12-bit High Resolution-Millivolt Signals at a Glance

Traditional automotive oscilloscopes mostly have 8-bit resolution (256-level quantization), often failing to clearly capture weak signals such as oxygen sensor fluctuations, injector current details, or CAN bus dominant/recessive voltage differences. The AHO1 Series uses a 12-bit ADC, raising quantization levels to 4096 -16 times that of traditional oscilloscopes. Combined with a low-noise front-end design, it accurately captures millivolt-level signal variations.

Automotive-specific+General-purpose Oscilloscope Dual-software Architecture

With dedicated automotive and general-purpose oscilloscope software, it meets both professional vehicle diagnostic and general electronic measurement.

Built-in 4⅚-digit Multimeter – Reducing On-site Instrument Load

The AHO1 Series innovatively integrates a 4⅚-digit high-precision multimeter into the oscilloscope, supporting AC/DC voltage, current, resistance, continuity, diode, and capacitance measurements. More practically, the oscilloscope and multimeter can run simultaneously and switch seamlessly – eliminating the need to repeatedly plug/unplug probes or swap instruments during diagnostics, greatly improving on-site efficiency.

3.1cm Ultra-thin Body + Large-capacity Lithium Battery-Untethered Mobile Diagnostics

With a body thickness of only 3.1cm, it fits easily into a tool case or laptop bag. The built-in large-capacity lithium battery supports charging via power banks, completely solving power supply issues for outdoor automotive repair. The soft rubber protective design offers drop and vibration resistance, adapting to workshops, roadsides, and other demanding environments.

110Mpts Deep Memory + Segmented Memory – Elusive Faults Cannot Hide

The 110Mpts deep memory ensures adequate sampling rate even during long-duration waveform acquisition, preserving signal details. Segmented memory is standard, dividing storage space into multiple segments, each trigger recording only key events, and bringing multiple anomalous waveforms together in the same storage space. The “Integration Display” function allows side-by-side comparison and analysis, quickly locating intermittent faults such as occasional CAN bus error frames or sporadic ignition misfires – a powerful tool for diagnosing elusive faults.

Full-scene Automotive Diagnostic Presets – One-click Measurement

The AHO1 Series is built for high-frequency automotive repair scenarios, with preset full-scene diagnostic functions. One click completes the test – no complex setup required. It covers charging/starting, sensors, actuators, ignition circuit analysis, and in-vehicle bus testing, supports triggering and decoding of multiple serial protocols, and is compatible with all mainstream vehicle models on the market. Novice technicians can get up to speed quickly and easily handle complex electronic control system diagnostics.
