Currently, the Fourier‑transform FFT can handle up to 100,000 data points. In electronic measurements, the FFT is useful for identifying noise sources, characterizing the impulse response of filters and systems, performing jitter analysis, analyzing harmonic power, conducting electromagnetic interference (EMI) analysis, and carrying out frequency‑response analysis, among other applications.
